Max served for nine years on the board of directors for the Holmes County Chamber of Commerce, and has also served on the Holmes County Board of Mental Retardation and Development Disabilities, and on the board of the Holmes County District Public Library. He is a member of the Rotary Club of Millersburg, and has been active in its international youth exchange program and its scholarship and loan foundation for several years. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Killbuck Savings Bank Company, and is active in the Millersburg United Methodist Church.

Grant is in his second year on the Board of Directors for the Holmes County Chamber of Commerce. Grant is a member of the Rotary Club of Millersburg and served as the club's president in 2001-2002. In 2004, the Ohio State Bar Foundation selected Grant as one of the recipients of the Award for Community Service for Attorneys under age 40.

Christina served as a judicial clerk to Judge Lynn Slaby on the Ninth District Court of Appeals and Justice Maureen O’Connor with the Supreme Court of Ohio. She is a past Explorer Post Advisor and Assistant Scoutmaster, and currently plays the piano for her local church.
